⁷ Then he forged two cheruvim of gold, from hammered work, at the two ends of the atonement cover, ⁸ one cheruv at one end, and one cheruv at the other. He made the atonement cover from a single piece with the cheruvim on the two ends. ⁹ So the cheruvim spread out their wings on high, overshadowing the atonement cover with their wings, with their faces to one another, and the faces of the cheruvim toward the atonement cover.
